English Homework #1- I am
I am Jaclyn Marie Abbott López. I’ve read authors like blockbuster movie inspiring Nicholas Sparks, Jennifer Weiner, Stephanie Meyer, Robert James Waller, Gioconda Belli, Laura Esquivel and some others I might not remember at the moment. I am a hopeless romantic. I’m a sucker for a love story, and I enjoy writing them as well. I believe that we should write down everything we go through so we can share it with others some day with hope that it can inspire them as well. A good story can make you believe in things you might have lost faith in. I want my words to help people heal, believe, love, laugh, cry. I want my experiences to help people connect to a character because they just might be going through the same and let them know that they can get through it victoriously as well.
I am eighteen until Jan. 28. I am –technically- an orphan. I am mature and responsible, maybe too much sometimes. I am a worrier. I am an English major and I hope to become an author as well as a journalist. Ultimately, I would become a photo journalist. I enjoy taking pictures of people and just because of how they look; expressions, body language and mood, make a story from it. Or find the history behind what we see in that photo, just to compare it to what the photo itself tells us. I am a dreamer. I believe what I do can change the world, even if it is just one person at a time and I am trying to convince others as well in hopes that we slowly do. I make mistakes, and I learn from them which is why I think regret is a waste of energy and time. Embrace your mistakes and your flaws, learn and love them. It is them who make you unique. I am going to be a mother. I do not know when, but I’ve known all my life I will. I don’t trust easily because life has made me scared to. I am not commonly this open but after all, who will know? I wish people would live their life and let others live theirs without judgment. I love deeply and live honestly. I am in love and have been for the past four years, he is my best friend. He is my rock. Neither of us follows the other, we walk together and help in each other whenever either of us stumbles. I’ve learned in life that it is never too late for anything; we just need the will power to make a change. I want to witness a miracle and change a life. I want my life to mean something, I want to make my mark.
