Every year the senior class of my school dramatizes a play, sometimes musicals. This year my drama class, being that we are all girls, will dramatize The House of Bernarda Alba. I will be Bernarda Alba! The play is on May 1st and I only know the lines of the first act. I have this whole week off from school so I hope I’ll be able to learn the other two acts.

About the play. When I read it in like 10th grade I didn’t really appreciate it as I do now that I’ve read it so many times over and over again. It’s actually really good. The author captured the attitudes and lifestyle of that time perfectly in this play. I really hope the rest of the class and myself will do the author justice. I’ll post after the play and tell you how it went!
