I can’t believe I only have a few more days until high school is over forever. I’ve been in the same school with pretty much the same people since second grade and it’ll be over in a month. I love my classmates. They’ve been my friends and family for the past years. And honestly, I didn’t appreciate them much until this past year. I’ve realized how different everything will be in college and even if in some ways it’s better, I’m certain there are things about high school I’ll miss a lot in college. But life goes on, and we have to close a chapter if we want to open a new one. And even if I understand this, it doesn’t mean it’s easy to accept it. Here I am…slowly trying to accept that life as I’ve known it for so long is coming to an end.
